Larry was known to all of us as "Ritchey La Pee Pee." I don't know the exact dates he was on, but he was certainly on when Richard Wills called his bluff in the crews mess in the 1968 era and Richie was no longer teased about his nickname! Ritchey was an SN and was the only person I know of who managed to elude the COB Wally Burton for a whole day while we were out at sea. Ritchey died in 1982.
